What a New Patient Can Expect at Ouellette Chiropractic

Ouellette Chiropractic will be honored to call you our newest patient! If you have never received chiropractic care before and have any questions or apprehensions, please know we’re always here to inform you or set your mind at ease.
We will ask you to fill out a few forms prior to your first appointment with Dr. Michelle. The information you provide will give us vital insight into your existing health conditions and their symptoms – the first step toward developing your individualized care plan. If you would like to fill out forms prior to your visit with us. They are below for your convenience. As doing so will make your initial consultation quicker, more convenient, and ultimately more beneficial. If your busy schedule has not allowed you to fill out this necessary paperwork prior to your arrival, please come to our clinic at least 15 minutes before your appointment is scheduled.
Arrival
We will welcome you to our clinic with open arms and friendly smiles. Please present your completed forms and insurance information to our receptionist on your arrival.
Consultation
You will meet one-on-one with Dr. Michelle. She will be eager to learn your health history, lifestyle and symptoms, as well as your expectations and goals for chiropractic care.
Exam
Next Dr. Michelle will perform a thorough yet nonintrusive chiropractic exam. In addition to conducting neurological and orthopedic tests, Dr. Michelle will assess your range of motion, muscle strength, muscle tone and neurological integrity, as well as any other physical attributes that may be relevant to your symptoms.
Diagnosis
Once she has given your examination and test results proper study, Dr. Michelle will present your diagnosis and explain which of chiropractic care’s modalities promise the greatest outcomes. Dr. Michelle will answer any questions you may have, and may additionally advise care by other providers.
X-Rays
Your medical history and the results of your chiropractic exam may warrant X-rays. X-Rays or scans are not needed to treat you but can be ordered by Dr. Michelle to your nearest surrounding area facility. This diagnostic test often provides vital insight into structural abnormalities and other skeletal issues that can contribute to pain and decreased mobility.
Treatment
If you choose to pursue treatment at Ouellette Chiropractic following your initial consultation, we will go over your individualized care plan together. In addition to a schedule of chiropractic treatments, your care plan may include lifestyle changes that can accelerate healing and maximize your chances of realizing full recovery.
